Laura Stollard, RN, MSN is the director of patient safety, clinical excellence and risk management for Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, a member of BJC HealthCare.
In her role, Stollard is a member of the hospital senior leadership team and provides support for the following departments:
- Emergency preparedness
- Environmental services
- Environmental health and safety
- Facilities
- Infection prevention
- Occupational health
- Patient safety
- Planning, design and construction
- Regulatory compliance
Stollard joined BJC HealthCare in 2011 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center as a manager in risk management. Prior to joining Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital in 2015, she was a quality patient care senior consultant for the BJC Center for Clinical Excellence.
Earlier in her career, Stollard served in leadership roles for risk management and patient safety at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville, Illinois. She continues to support the community in Belleville as an adjunct faculty member at Southwestern Illinois College.
Stollard graduated from Belleville Area College the pursed a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) and master of science in nursing (MSN) from Indiana Wesleyan University.
