Jeffrey Martin, MD, longtime private-practice physician, has joined the hip and knee service of Washington University Orthopedics. The move from private practice to academic medicine at Washington University School of Medicine underscores the opportunity to apply the newest scientific innovations to improve a patient’s surgical outcome.
Dr. Martin is board certified in orthopedic surgery and will treat patients on the Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital campus at 969 North Mason Road.
Dr. Martin earned his medical degree and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He then completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at DePaul Hospital. Dr. Martin is an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at Washington School of Medicine, and is consistently recognized as a Best Doctor in America®.
