We work hard at Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, but we also have fun. A variety of employee activities and recognition events are held throughout the year.
We also strive to improve the health of our employees. The BJC HealthCare Help For Your Health Program encourages BJC employees to improve their health by reducing lifestyle-related risk factors. BJC has programs to encourage our employees to become more aware of their health status and to provide the resources needed to support lifestyle changes.

The Help for Your Health initiative for employees is an extension of BJC’s commitment to improving health in the community. Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital cares about the health of our neighbors. We are committed to providing education and services to our own local community, for example we offer a variety of free community health education classes, provide free flu shots, conduct PSA and skin cancer screenings. We also support community events like the American Heart Association Heart Walk, Pedal the Cause, a cycling event to raise money for cancer research, and the Creve Coeur Safety Fair
