The Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation Center (STAR), a part of Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital, now has a third location at The Center for Advanced Medicine - South County.
The Center for Advanced Medicine - South County is a new outpatient facility, providing a wide range of medical services, that opened in April at 5201 Midamerica Plaza near the Siteman Cancer Center at I-55. It’s jointly owned by Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
STAR is a center of excellence where clients receive one-on-one instruction from licensed, experienced physical therapists and licensed massage therapists. With challenging treatments, therapists can help patients recover after surgery, restore function after injury, or simply achieve a personal best in their level of fitness. Whether you are patient ready to regain strength, improve mobility and eliminate pain or an athlete looking to improve performance, therapists at all three STAR locations can design an individualized program.
